Sam Layton- Founder and Trustee

Sam Layton
Through her own lived experience of mental health issues as a young person, improving the live’s of young people who will experience mental health issues is one of Sam’s passions.
Sam is a qualified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor and public speaker about her own lived experience of mental health issues.

Kevin McNamara- Trustee
He/Him
Kevin McNamara
Kevin is passionate about young people receiving the support that they need, and accessing mental health services that are designed by and with them, and that meet their needs.
In his professional life, Kevin is a Health and Wellbeing Coach who works with Children and Young People for a GP Federation. He is a trainee counsellor having recently achieved a Level 3 in Counselling Skills Working With Children and Young People from Place2Be, and is a trainee ADHD Coach who is training with The ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity.
Kevin also has a dog named Rolo – who is good for his mental health!

Elia Chitwa- Trustee

Elia Chitwa
Having used CAMHS as a teenager, Elia is passionate about ensuring that children and young people have access to adequate mental health care that suits their needs.
Elia is a student currently studying a law conversion course. This is following their graduation from a university where they also completed a year as the Disabled Students’ Sabbatical Officer for the students’ union. They are a former YoungMinds activist and former member of the NHS Youth Forum.
