Support For Us is a charity Sam Layton is launching to provide training and resources around young people’s mental health. We are currently recruiting our founding trustee board.
Trustees play a key role in any charity. Applications are open for individuals who would like to be trustees of Support For Us. Anybody can apply, but we’d be particularly interested in hearing from people who have the relevant experience of being a trustee, including:
- Legal
- Financial/accounting
- Safeguarding laws
- Experience in the mental health field
- Lived experience of mental illness
- Familiarity of the charity sector
- Previous experience as a trustee
- Publicity
We would also be interested in hearing from people with lived experience of mental illness.
